ADP – Apprentice Development Programme
New 2 year course: Launched this year for 17 – 25 year olds- Not for the faint hearted!

Our aim is to help develop artists to more fully express God’s image through their creative, intellectual, spiritual, moral and relational capacities.
Our passion is to train and release artists of excellence to make a difference in society.
This course is not for the fainthearted! It has been put together with serious artists in mind. Artists who have the dedication, commitment and total determination to never settle for the good but to go for the best. This means a high degree of personal responsibility – after all it’s entirely up to you how much you want it!
The course is based on five key areas of God’s image.
Creative: Excellence, originality, beauty, imagination, practice, mentoring, recording, stage craft, DVD, etc.
(This will be outworked through your arts training sessions including Master Classes from people working in the industry)
Intellectual: Understanding – theology, arts, culture, industry etc. (This will be outworked through your discipleship course) Spiritual: Worship, prayer, God encounters etc. (This will be outworked through community life and the discipleship course) Moral: Character, loyalty, obedience, humility, servant-hood etc. (This will be outworked through all areas of ngm!)
Relational: Intimacy with God, relationships with others, justice and helping the poor etc. (This will be outworked through community life, mission and discipleship course)
Creative
Musicians
We are looking to recruit musicians to go through this course as part of an ngm 'house band'. You will receive training from our in house team plus some specialist instrument tuition and band tuition. You will resource our worship leaders, other artists and also the Inspire arts trust who work locally and nationally in schools. Ngm has a great track record with putting together bands and seeing them grow and develop and this is your opportunity to become part of that!
Dancers
We are looking to bring in dancers to form a urban dance crew. As well as all the other aspects of the course, you will chance to attend master classes with professional dance tutors Jono and Kirsty (Sacred), and with Natalie Murdoch. As well as this you will be attending regular technique classes with ngm's experienced tutors and occasionally attending other arranged master classes
Singers
As well as regular vocal lessons with our qualified vocal tutor Simon Duffill, you will also have workshops from outside vocal tutors such as Dave Wescott. You will be assessed by regular evaluations and be set other projects which will develop your vocal skills.
In year 2 of this course we will also incorporate the chance to have a myspace designed for you (if applicable) a Dvd recording (if applicable)also a studio recording within the Ngm Caedmon Complex (if applicable). Further more we bring in masterclass tutors from different backgrounds and walks of life to help develop your artform.
DJing - new to ADP
Previously part of the 1 year Boot Camp course (see Boot Camp) - Our new enhanced DJ programme is now part of the ADP programme for more experienced DJs. The Course guide is not yet available - but you can apply for an interview now.
Intellectual
Jesus said 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and all you mind and with all your strength' (Luke 12:30)
We often miss the importance of the commandment to love God with all our minds. We need to gain more understanding of our culture and our faith and how to bridge the two.

All ngm courses are held at our unique £3 million purpose built arts training complex with 2 recording studios, dance studio, performance venue, media suite and training rooms. Artists will receive development from our experienced ngm artists including the cast of Luv Esther, DJ Studious, our urban dance crew, bands working in the industry, and other amazing artists from the theatre, dance, media and music industry.
