Release Dance Crew
Based at ngm in Bristol, they are committed to sharing their lives, their faith, and their artform to make a difference in our culture and invest in young people. For just over two years now, Release have had the privilege of impacting this generation through a variety of festivals and youth and schools events, and have performed in front of hundreds of people. We are now looking for dancers aged 17-25 to join our crew who are serious about their artform and changing culture for the better.Latest video
In joining the Release Dance Crew you will learn and develop dynamic and inventive choreography, and travel to various events, gigs, and workshops to perform and speak about your faith. As part of ngm’s buzzing creative arts community you will also take part in ngm’s full Christian discipleship course. We believe it is very important for artists to have a good grounding in biblical understanding as well as getting to grips with the culture they will be working in. We also know that it is vital to develop intimacy with God if we are to raise up artists who are passionate for God and able to make a difference in society.
ngm has a history of training artists and seeing them released into all that God has for them. More recently one of our artists toured with the musical ‘Fame’, another with ‘Thriller Live’, one has just graduated from the Royal Academy of Music and three of those trained through ngm were in the band that played at the royal wedding! With a wealth of experience in developing artists and also mentoring and discipling them to help them prepare for the pressures they will face, this is a great place to be!
