Nancy Goudie's Spiritual Wellbeing Retreat - North Devon, UK

I want to invite you to a very special, beautiful wellbeing retreat in the Devon countryside.  These beautiful cottages offer a unique opportunity to rest, be pampered and refreshed, whilst feeling renewed physically, emotionally and spiritually. Nestled in the stunning Devon countryside, guests will enjoy wonderful accommodation which comes with a relaxing hot tub. These amazing retreats are only for a small number of people so that we can create an intimate, personal experience so do book soon to be sure of your place.  Whether you’re joining on your own or with your girlfriends, these retreats provide a special space to connect, grow, and be revived.  There is also an opportunity for personal prayer and a chance to get to know myself and my team more intimately.

Each cottage comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, a beautiful dining area, a spacious lounge and a lovely terrace area. The two main cottages have four bedrooms:  in one cottage, the master bedroom features a dressing area as well as a luxurious en-suite with separate bath and shower, it is the ultimate oasis!   In the other cottage, the master has its own beautiful bathroom.    This master bedroom can be split into a twin or stay as a single room.  In both cottages, the other three bedrooms can be either twins or made into a single room with a double bed, depending on the configuration needed.  There are options for these rooms to be en-suite or with shared bathrooms (please note where the bathrooms are shared, they are two bathrooms to three bedrooms).   These cottages have lovely outdoor areas with their own luxurious hot tub.  There is also a third cottage available which has three bedrooms which can be either twin or singles and are all en-suite.  This also has its own luxurious hot tub.

We will also have some included optional walks and fitness sessions and will all enjoy at least one meal together.  There will be some paid extras you can opt for including extra meals, spa treatments and resort organised activities, details of which will be available nearer the time.  The base cost depends on your choice of accommodation – see attached booking form for more information.

 FURTHER INFORMATION FOR NANCY GOUDIE’S SPIRITUAL HEALTH RETREAT DEVON

This retreat will run from 12th – 15th  March 2027.  It is being held in the beautiful Highbullen Cottages which are in Chittlenhamholt, Devon, just 10 miles from the lovely town of Barnstaple. 

As mentioned above, there are fully fitted kitchens in the cottages.  You can bring your own food, arrange for a food delivery or go to the nearest supermarket which is in South Molton, just 6 miles away.  There is also a small shop in the village, just a short walk away, for essentials.   There are also a couple of restaurants in the resort, as well as places for drinks.  There is also a local pub in the village nearby.

The cost includes all conference sessions, all our optional sessions, one meal and full use of the hotel’s leisure facilities which include swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym, plus that beautiful hot tub outside your cottage.  We will send you details of the optional resort organised spa treatments and sporting activities such as tennis and horse riding, and any meals you can add nearer the time.  You are responsible for organising your own transport.   Please note that we would like you to be at the resort for 4pm on 12th March.  The retreat will end at midday on Monday 15th March. 

The easiest way to get to the resort is by car.  There is plenty of free parking on-site.  The nearest train station is Umberleigh.  If you plan to travel by train, try and arrive around 3.30pm and, if possible, we will group you into a taxi with others coming for the retreat.  If you are travelling by air, the nearest airport is Exeter.  If you are coming by air, do let us know your timings and we can see if there are other attendees flying that you can share a taxi with.  Don’t miss this retreat -you will really love it!
