Nancy Goudie's Spiritual Health UK Retreat (Lake District)

This is a 3-night, 4-day ladies only retreat with space to relax, hear God speak to you and be pampered. Set in stunning northern Lake District, in 4-star lodges with private hot tubs, these weekends are for only a small number of people. Whether you are coming on your own or with your girlfriends, do book in soon as we only have 25 places available. These are precious times together which are not to be missed. I was astounded by all that God did through our very first UK retreat in 2023 and the transformation he bought about in the lives of those who attended, and I cannot wait to see God do even more in 2025. This is a special retreat for a small number of people who want to experience God in a new deep way in 2025! The resort is beautiful, with stunning scenery, gorgeous cottages and much more. The personalised encouragement slots are a special time for each individual and new for 2025 we have our Health & Wellbeing sessions as part of the retreat too.

Each cottage comes complete with a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, a beautiful dining area, a spacious lounge and a lovely terrace area. The two main cottages have six bedrooms: in one cottage, the master bedroom has a luxurious en-suite and can be split into twin beds or stay as a single. In both cottages, the other bedrooms can be either twins or made into a single room with a double bed, depending on the configuration needed. The cottages have shared bathrooms, two bedrooms rooms to each bathroom. These cottages have lovely outdoor areas with their own luxurious hot tub and one has it’s own small sauna! There is also a lovely games room for our own exclusive use, which is another area to hang out. 20 minutes away is the North Lakes Hotel & Spa, where you have free access to the leisure club with a lovely pool, steam room and sauna – it is a great oasis!

We will also have some included optional walks and fitness sessions and will all enjoy at least one meal together. There will be some paid extras you can opt for, including extra meals, spa treatments and organised activities, details of which will be available nearer the time. FURTHER INFORMATION FOR NANCY GOUDIE’S SPIRITUAL HEALTH RETREAT LAKE DISTRICT
This retreat will run from 9th – 12th May 2025. It is being held in the beautiful Monkhouse Hill Cottages, which are in the North Lakes just 15 minutes from the lovely town of Penrith and also 20 minutes from Carlisle.
As mentioned above, there are fully fitted kitchens in the cottages. You can bring your own food, arrange for a food delivery or go to the nearest supermarkets in Carlisle or Penrith. There is also a restaurant in the nearby North Lakes Hotel & Spa and a few local pubs, just a short drive away.
The cost includes all conference sessions, all our optional sessions, one meal and full use of the hotel’s leisure facilities at the North Lakes Hotel & Spa, which include swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym, plus that beautiful hot tub outside your cottage. We will send you details of the optional spa treatments and sporting activities such as tennis and cycling, and any meals you can add nearer the time.
You are responsible for organising your own transport. Please note that we would like you to be at the resort for 4pm on 9th May. The retreat will end at 12 midday on 12th May. The easiest way to get to the resort is by car. There is plenty of free parking on-site. The nearest train station is Carlisle which is about 20 minute drive away. If you plan to travel by train, try and arrive around 3.30pm and, if possible, we will group you into a taxi with others coming for the retreat.
